If you have to take admission in colleges abroad then it is an important thing. In many countries, visa facility is not available without IELTS. 9000 organizations across the world accept this test. Last year, about 2 million people gave this test. If you have to study abroad, then you have to pass this test. This exam consists of 4 sections: listening, reading, writing, speaking. If you take care of these small things, then you will definitely pass these tests and your dream of going abroad will come true.

(1) Before the recording starts in the listening section, read the questions of each section carefully, this will help you understand the questions during the recording.

(2) Be careful while using the words in the writing section, if you have written only the words of the questions, then those words will not count in the Examiner Word Count.

(3) In many questions word limit is written. For example, write the answer in 3 words. In such a situation, avoid writing more words and finish your answer in less and less words.

(4) You do not need to guess the meaning of every word in the reading task. You do not have much time to make meaning of every word. You can find out the meaning of the sentence by removing the sense.

(5) Examples are sometimes given in the reading task. If it is a case, then read it and check whether it is correct.

(6) In the writing section, if you have written 150 words in one task and 250 words in the second task then you can get less number. But avoid writing more and more words.

(7) During the speech, do not prepare the speech beforehand or do not talk on a different topic than what the examiner asks, directly answer the question the examiner asks.

  (8) Keep in mind that your general communication is not being tested for English communication, so pay more attention to your communication while talking.

(9) Whenever you answer the examiner's question, do not vote yes or no, try to explain your point in detail in at least one point.

(10) Organize your ideas and links and make sentences and while speaking, speak slowly at normal speed and try to use the best English words in it.

Reading  You read English newspapers like The Times of India and The Tribune daily, from beginning to end. This will improve your vocabulary and grammar. While reading, you underline the important dates, events and names of people, because many questions in IELTS are based on these. Time management is important for you during the IELTS Test. If you are unable to find the answer to the question, then leave it and go to the next one, you can always come back. Many times the easiest questions are at the end, so try to read the entire paper.
